I don't even know you but this story is just what I needed. Iam going through that time n the story of waiting on God, but by reading this story i realized that sometimes I'm not really waiting on him but on my wife. So now I am commited to only wait on God for his will no matter what that may look like. Praise God for you and your story

I can't believe I actually finished reading this in one sitting! Just want to say thank you so much for sharing your heart and life experience. I was worshiping the Lord this morning and reflecting on two significant past Christian broken relationships. I decided to do a random internet search on "Christian you broke my heart in two" and was led to your site. Its definitely encouraged me to remember the truth of the word that love does cover a multitude of sins. May your marriage always be filled with that unfailing, everlasting love. Thank you!

Kari,
I have now been sucked into your blog and am reading a number of your stories. This one took several sittings today, a few with tears. I am so glad to know you now, and am so grateful to the wisdom that some of the lessons you have learned along the way allows you to share.

What a touching story, and a great story to hear after already knowing how it ends!

I am working on praying more, and with purpose. This story really encourages that for me.

Thanks again!

Well, I finally got back to reading your story Kari, and I finished it just now. I was guiltily reading it at work today, because it was so riveting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story in such a beautiful way. It is a testament to God's faithfulness and the faithfulness of your parents for praying for you all your life. As well as the trust you and Jeff both placed in the Lord to direct your life. Way to go for waiting for God's best! I know your writing will continue to minister to many many people. I am so grateful to know you both!

Kari, Your Mom had e-mailed me your website some time ago, and as usual with limited time I didn't get to it until today. Your story captured my heart and impressed upon what a GREAT GOD we have. He has a much better plan for our lives then we ever could imagine. It is such a treat to see the two of you blessed with the most darling little boy ever!! God bless you for sharing this story of love and Gods glory!!

Wow Kari! Thanks so much for sharing your story and reminding me (I was married exactly 1 week before you!) of how God used my husband in my life and broke my heart for Him. Steve and I met and married in about a year but then spent the next year living thousands of miles apart. It is really amazing how God breaks us so we can turn to Him.
