I read this and got a good chuckle, but thought why not just use Grecian formula to change the grey rather than hair dye… Just a thought.. Glad to hear that there was a good outcome in spite of all of the trauma. I do not know if I would have reacted in the same way your husband did…

Boy, you sure had me cracking up with this story. This is so something that would happen to me, and my sweet, strong husband would be so forgiving, just as he has been in the past with my foolish ideas.

Good lesson. As I have been coloring my hair for way too long I Have often thought about giving Lionel’s color a boost. His dad and brother both do it. But I am not going to now. thanks!

Great story and lesson!

I, myself, have tried the home coloring treatment with VERY poor results. (I ended up doing multiple jobs in a couple of days and my bangs came off in the curling iron!) Warren, to this day, insists I spend the money to have my hair professionally done! He, on the other hand used colored shampoo for over a year before I knew about it. It works pretty good! I, personally, love his dark black hair with the gray running through it.
