Dutch’s First Prayer

Indulge this mama while she shares this precious moment.  Dutch is just now really beginning to talk (at least in words that we understand), so tonight, as we were tucking him in and after we prayed for him, we asked him if he wanted to pray.  He shyly said yes. This was his prayer:

“Dada God, Kant Noo.”

Translation: Father God, Thank you.

Ok, melting heart right now.  Please Lord may this be the first of many prayers, true prayers from His heart to yours.

Kari, this is so sweet! Last week Hudson said “Dodo, Jesus” after we prayed at bed time. It was the most precious thing I’ve ever heard. I second your prayer!

WOW! That is amazing! I sure love that little boy and I love that the fruits of your labor as a parent are already showing!

I’m heading for the Grandmother book I am writing for my grandkids…want to make sure this is recorded. Then I will grab a hankie.
Oh, precious boy. I know that was from his heart and indicates to me that he is sensitive to the whispers of the Holy Spirit. Beloved boy, what a joy to pray for you. Oma
